Port Shore Leave Launch ServiceA shore-leave launch picks up seafarers from ship in port displaying the Charlie Flag from either 0900 or 1230hrs and returns them back to ship from 1500 and 1600hrs. A bus meets the launch to transport seafarers to the Centre for money-changing, then on to the local shopping mall.

Bus Services for SeafarersBus services transport seafarers to and from the Port Shore Leave Launch Service at the Town Jetty, Port Authority, Supermarket, Airport and the Doctors. Please Contact Us or your Shipping Agent to enquire about other bus services (Airport, Doctors, etc).
Transit Accommodation for SeafarersWe have temporary accommodation for seafarers, awaiting their ship or flight in or out of Port Hedland. Please contact the Seafarers Centre or your Shipping Agent to inquire about this service.
